Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

family

I grew up in St Ives, a small fishing town in Cornwall, England. With three sisters and, later in life, three daughters, the ocean has always offered a welcome escape. I spent most of my youth on the water fishing, so a career at sea felt inevitable.

Today, I live with my wife and our three daughters in the village of Kittle on the Gower Peninsula in Wales.

As a family, we love to travel and explore together, with our latest adventure being an RV trip to Yosemite.

HOBBIES & Home life

Anyone who knows me knows that fishing isn’t just a hobby—it’s my passion and a way of life. While Wales doesn’t offer the same fishing opportunities I grew up with, I now play golf weekly and football once a week to stay competitive, active, and challenged. Being outdoors has always been central to who I am, and that hasn’t changed.

Living on the coast, with endless scenic walks right on the doorstep, makes it easy to stay active while slowing down and enjoying time with my family. Whether it’s a long coastal walk, fresh sea air, or simply being outside together, this way of life keeps me grounded and energised.
